INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - It's a new dining experience for a popular sushi spot. Sakana of Tokyo is known for their specialty rolls and now the Mongolian hot pot!

"Most people come here for our specialty rolls," explains owner and chef Batbold Tsevegmid of Sakana of Tokyo.

Yelpers rate Sakaka of Tokyo as one of the best sushi spots in Indianapolis. All specialty rolls are $10. Chef Bart teaches Hoosiers about Japanese cuisine; he's rolled sushi for 17 years.

"I want young and old to enjoy the sushi experience," says Chef Bart.

Yelp reviews highlight the Playboy Roll. It is a specialty sushi roll with spicy tuna, asparagus and shrimp tempura inside, topped with shrimp and chef's three sauces, served on fire!

"The fish is very fresh you can see and taste the difference," adds Brittany Smith from Yelp Indy.

New to the menu in July is the Mongolian hot pot. Diners dip raw ingredients including meats, fish, vegetables and eggs in the boiling broth until it's fully cooked.

"Grab some meat, the ribeye. Put in there. This is regular broth, not spicy. Swirl it! it is pretty much done right now! Customers are cooking themselves," says Chef Bart.

The new, interactive dining experience lets customers pick from more than 20 dishes and four different broths, from mild to spicy. Sakana of Tokyo is the first business in Indiana to offer the Mongolian hot pot experience.

"The Mongolian hot pot is a way to bring friends together and you get to have an activity while eating," explains Smith.
