HOUSTON, Tx. (January 10, 2016)- The Pacers have lost every over time game they have played so far this season. They’ve played in four OT games; Utah, Chicago, Miami and on Sunday night, the Rockets.

It was their second overtime game of the Pacers’ four game road trip. They led by 13 points at the end of the third quarter but watched their lead disintegrate as Houston notched a 27 point 4th quarter, 12 of those points coming from three point range.

The Pacers maintained control in overtime until the Rockets took their first lead with 1:13 left. Monta Ellis gave Indiana back their lead with 59 seconds left, but the Rockets scored 5 unanswered points in the final 40 seconds of the game.

“There’s no consolation prize for losing a close game,” head coach Frank Vogel told the media following the loss. “We’ve got to figure out how to finish.”

Despite the loss the Pacers recorded 33 assists, a season high for the team. Indiana returns home Tuesday evening to face the Phoenix Suns.
