A return to Assembly Hall helped 16th-ranked Indiana return to winning form Monday night with a 103-56 victory over Delaware State.
IU’s offense came out charging, scoring 32 points in the first 10 minutes. Four Hoosiers scored in double figures, with sophomore forward OG Anunoby leading the way with 19 points. Anunoby added nine rebounds and four blocks. Junior guard Robert Johnson collected 16 points and sophomore Thomas Bryant recorded 14 points with six rebounds and four assists.
The victory over Delaware State improved the Hoosiers home winning-streak to 25 games. Indiana’s loss to Butler in Saturday’s Crossroads Classic dropped them from 9th to 16th in the AP Top 25 poll, released Monday. IU will return to action on Thursday as they host Austin Peay with tip-off scheduled for 7 pm.
