KOKOMO, Ind. –- Colts punter Pat McAfee is used to making an impact on the football field, but he used his talents off the field to make an even bigger impact for Kokomo Friday night.

McAfee’s “Cracking Up For Kokomo” comedy show raised $150,000 for the city’s tornado relief fund.  All proceeds went to The United Way of Howard County to help the city in the wake of devastating tornadoes that tore through the area in late August.

The city of Kokomo says the Pro Bowler’s fundraiser was extremely successful, and audience members sitting in sold-out seats weren’t disappointed.

Kokomo mayor Greg Goodnight and other Colts players took to social media to express their support for McAfee. Head coach Chuck Pagano was also in attendance.

McAfee himself took to social media just after the show to give his gratitude to Indiana community.
