INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After weeks of working behind closed doors, the Indianapolis Colts will show their fan base the amount of progress that’s been made.
As part of its three-day mandatory minicamp, the team will hold its Wednesday session at Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s open to the public at no cost, but fans must obtain a free ticket at www.colts.com/camp. Tickets must be printed at home or be downloaded to a mobile device through Ticketmaster’s mobile ticketing option. Only fans with a ticket will be allowed in the stadium.
This week’s minicamp is the culmination of the Colts’ offseason work. The final session is Thursday, after which time the players are off until the start of training camp at Anderson University in late July.
The eventful day at Lucas Oil Stadium begins at 2 p.m. and not only includes practice at 5:30, but a “Select-A-Seat’’ opportunity for fans interested in purchasing season tickets. There are approximately 500 available seats, and they will be tagged so fans can actually sit in them to gauge their attractiveness.
Available season tickets, priced from $570 to $1,140, are located in the Loge Level (400 level) and Terrace Level (600).
A capsule look at Wednesday’s agenda:
- On-field activities: 2-4 p.m.
- Select-A-Seat: 2-7 p.m.
- Practice: 5:30 p.m.
- The Lego Movie: 8 p.m.
- Miscellaneous: Players will be available for autographs along the railings at approximately 5 p.m. Appearances will be made throughout the day by the team mascot and Colts cheerleaders.
- Parking: Limited space is available at no charge in the South Lot on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Security: All bags will be searched. No backpacks are permitted, but fans will be allowed to bring a blanket for use during the showing of the movie.
