Butler’s Dunham named Big East Scholar-Athlete of Year

INDIANAPOLIS (March 9, 2016) — Kellen Dunham’s ability on the court and in the classroom hasn’t gone unnoticed.  The Butler guard has been named 2015-16 Big East Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Dunham, a senior, is tied for sixth in the league in scoring at 16.2 points and leads the league with 75 three-pointers.

Most impressive is his work in the classroom, where he has a 3.18 GPA in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Dunham and the Bulldogs open play in the Big East Tournament quarterfinals against Providence on Thursday.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 PM at Madison Square Garden.
