UPDATE (June 21, 2017)– Megan Quillen was found not guilty on the charge of battery on a person less than 14 years old.

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind (Oct. 20, 2015)- A Marion County corrections officer is off the job after being accused of hitting her boyfriend’s young son.

Megan Quillen was arrested in connection with the case.

The young boy revealed the alleged abuse to his grandmother at a pool party over this past summer. His grandmother recorded the admission on cell phone video. On the video, the 6-year old can be heard saying that Quillen choked him and threw him as hard as she could.

Court documents accuse Quillen of hitting the boy at an apartment she shared with her boyfriend.

A jury trial is set for April 2016.
