FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Dec. 4, 2015)—Fort Wayne residents who want to adopt pets may be disappointed. Animal Care and Control ran out of adoptable pets!

This is largely thanks to the shelter’s Black Friday special, where pet adoptions were $10.

About 30 pets were adopted through that deal.

The staff says it’s great to see all of their pets adopted, but they say they know it won’t last long.

Meanwhile, they are enjoying the look of an empty shelter, knowing their animals found homes. The shelter posted several photos of the empty shelter on Facebook, with the caption “What it looks like when all dogs have a home.”
