INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — We are tracking severe weather threats moving across central Indiana. Find the latest information as it becomes available here:

Parts of central Indiana are under a Tornado Watch until 2 a.m. Thursday.


Sheriff Nielsen says he spotted a tornado on the ground around 550 East and state road 47 it was in a field no structures involved. We had grape size hail and strong winds heavy rain.

Duke Energy reports 62,491 Indiana customers without power as of 9:45 p.m.

As of 9:28 pm, there are 21,961 IPL customers without power.

Tornado Warnings have expired at this time but we are still tracking very strong winds moving through Johnson and Shelby county, moving into Bartholomew county. Radar Indicating winds gusting above 80 mph.
