PEARLAND, TX (May 11, 2015) – A Texas woman was arrested on Mother’s Day for the deaths of her two 15-month-old daughters. Police video shows her smiling when officers handcuffed her.

KTKR reports that Barbara Ramirez-Sifuentes, 21, is facing two counts of manslaughter charges after investigators determined she “recklessly caused the deaths” of Sabrina and Savanna Russo by leaving them in the bathtub with the water running while she cleaned and played music in another room.

Ramirez-Sifuentes was arrested Sunday after authorities put out an alert for the woman and her white minivan. Officials tracked her down a few hours later.

KTKR obtained exclusive video of officers arresting Ramirez-Sifuentes. They pulled over her white van and informed her of her charges.

The most shocking part of the video is the fact that it appears Ramirez-Sifuentes is smiling broadly as police led her away in handcuffs.

Ramirez-Sifuentes is out of jail on bail, and according to her attorney she will plead not guilty.
