INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 12, 2015) – Peyton Manning was in Indianapolis last week for the 8th annual Celebration of Caring Fundraising Gala benefitting the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
The event has raised more than $7 million over the years. Friday, Manning launched a new $8 million capital campaign to fund the St. Vincent House. The new facility will provide a place for families to stay while their child is receiving long-term hospital care or NICU treatment. The St. Vincent house will accommodate those who live 30 miles or more away from Indianapolis.
Country music singer Dierks Bentley performed at the gala, and the quarterback decided to join in. Manning sang Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” with Bentley.
