KOKOMO, Ind. (May 21, 2015)– Twin brothers received identical prison sentences after a string of burglaries in Kokomo, the Kokomo Tribune reports.
Andrew and Austin Ferguson, both 23, were sentenced to ten years in jail. Eight years will be executed and the other two years will be supervised probation. Each must also pay $6,767.85 as a condition of a plea deal.
The Kokomo Tribune reports that the brothers were charged in several home and business burglaries last year.
Austin pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, burglary and two counts of aiding, inducing or causing burglary.
Andrew pleaded guilty to theft, receiving stolen property and three counts of burglary.
As part of the plea agreement, other charges against the twins were dismissed.
