Putnam County, Ind. — Thursday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. an Indiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Trooper stopped a white Ford box truck for impeding the flow of traffic on eastbound Interstate 70 near the 41 mile marker at the Cloverdale exit.
During a commercial vehicle inspection of the truck and conversations with the three occupants, the trooper noticed indicators of possible criminal activity. A search of the vehicle yielded 255 grams of psychedelic mushrooms; 17 grams of cocaine; 16 grams of Marijuana; 1 gram of methamphetamine; 6 grams of MDMA; 11 sublingual hits of acid; 175 Schedule II controlled substance prescription tablets; $340 cash, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The truck was registered to an individual in Los Angeles, California. The trio were traveling to different locations across the country performing audio-visual production services at different musical events.
Those arrested in the incident were:
- David Marriott, age 30, of Bellflower, CA (driver)
- Paul Olaechea, age 26, of Commerce, CA
- Jordan Pollard, age 25, of Los Angeles, CA
All of those suspects have been incarcerated in the Putnam Jail under the following charges:
- Possession of Cocaine more than 10 grams
- Dealing in a controlled substance
- Possession of Meth
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
The suspects were also cited for several Federal Motor Carrier safety violations
