Thanks to a $400 million class action lawsuit, you may be eligible for free tickets and discount codes.

Last month, Ticketmaster settled the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action lawsuit, which accused the ticket service of overcharging customers with fees.

The suit affected around 50 million people and includes anyone who bought tickets on the site between October 21, 1999 and February 27, 2013.

Those who fell into the “class period” received an email with the subject line: “Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Class Action Settlement — Notice Regarding Discount and Ticket Codes,” which explains how to redeem your discount codes and free tickets.

Here’s how you can check:

  1. Log on to your Ticketmaster account
  2. On the side bar, click on “Active Vouchers”

There, you will see if you were the select lucky ones to score some free tickets. People can redeem up to 17 discount codes for tickets( each $2.25) and UPS (each $5), as well as free tickets to a select list of events. You can redeem two free tickets with each ticket code.

Anyone who was eligible for any of these codes received them starting Saturday.
