INDIANAPOLIS (June 12, 2015) – Police have three people in handcuffs at the Shell gas station near the Indianapolis International Airport after a domestic dispute turned into a vehicle chase early Friday morning.

Police say the ordeal started with a disturbance run in the 600 block of North Rochester Avenue where shots were fired at a house after some sort of argument around 2 a.m.

Officers tell us a woman and two men allegedly went to the house to confront a male inside. Police say that after being refused entry to the home, the group got back in their car and fired shots at the house. The victims then fled the scene.

According to police, the man inside the house called a relative, who chased the suspects’ vehicle. The suspects ended up on I-70 near the airport, where they crashed into the brother’s vehicle and fired shots at him.

Officers found gun residue inside the suspects’ vehicle and believe the gun may have been thrown out of the window before they stopped. Police are currently looking for the weapon.
