Third grade Fishers class holds event to help end hunger

FISHERS, Ind. – Students at Brooks Elementary are helping hungry families in Fishers. Third graders in Kelly Stewart’s class are joining forces with United Methodist Food Pantry, and you can help them!

They’re taking food donations from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at 9691 East 116th Street.

According to the class, their top five needs are peanut butter, jelly, pop tarts, mac and cheese/pasta, crackers.

Last year the class helped feed more than 11,000 families.
