Suspects sought after near northeast side pursuit, crash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 29, 2015)– Police are searching for two suspects after a pursuit and crash on the city’s near northeast side.

An officer initiated traffic stop on a stolen vehicle Thursday evening near East 36th Street and North Adams Street.

Police say the vehicle fled and ended up crashing into a van after running stop sign. The van flipped and landed back on its wheels. The driver of the van was not injured.

The three occupants of the fleeing vehicle took off on foot northbound into a wooded area.

The driver was caught by an officer and arrested. That suspect was transported to Eskenazi Health with minor injuries. No officers were injured in the pursuit.

According to police, narcotics and paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. The two other subjects have not been caught. Descriptions have not been released.
