JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – A semi crash has closed parts of State Road 37 in Johnson County.
Sheriff Duane Burgess says the semi ran into a traffic light pole near County Line Road. He says temporary traffic control systems are being set up as traffic light lines are being repaired.
The Johnson County 911 Center said at 5:24 p.m. that southbound lanes were expected to be closed for the next couple of hours, but northbound lanes are open.
Those traveling westbound on Count Line Road will not be able to go southbound on SR 37.
#TrafficUpdate: SB SR 37 between Southport Rd to County Line Rd is still #Closed for the next couple of hours. NB SR 37 is #Open. If you are #traveling WB on County Line Rd you will NOT be able to go SB on SR 37. #StayTuned for more #TrafficUpdates. @93wibc

You CANNOT turn from SR 37 to County Line Road in Johnson County after a semi destroyed a signal pole. Restrictions will be in place until we can get a temporary signal up, most likely tomorrow morning. pic.twitter.com/rsp8P2qwmr
