Silver Alert canceled for missing Lawrence 9-year-old boy

UPDATE: Lawrnce police said the missing 9-year-old boy was brought to DCS offices Thursday morning and is safe and healthy.

LAWRENCE, Ind. — Police have issued a statewide Silver Alert for a 9-year-old boy missing from Lawrence.

The boy is reported to be 4′ 2″ tall, 70 lbs., with brown hair with brown eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, light blue jeans and tennis shoes.

The boy is missing from Lawrence, Indiana which is 12 miles east of Indianapolis and was last seen on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.

According to police, he is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
