INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — One person was shot Saturday night at a home on the northeast side of Indianapolis where a week ago, one person was killed in a double shooting.

Around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Downes Drive and discovered a person shot.

Police say the victim was in “stable condition.”

Authorities confirmed this is the same home where on September 28, 35-year-old Derrick Marks was shot and killed, and another man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have not said how, or if, the two incidents are related.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

This is a developing story.
