A girl can be anything she wants to be, including a police officer! And a sheriff’s office in Florida is supporting her ambitions!

When Cosette, 3, was instructed to dress up for career day with her library group, she chose to be a “Massachusetts Police K9 girl!”

Cosette was excited to dress up in a black “police” shirt and police hat, and she carried a stuffed K9.

But many of the other girls chose to dress up as princesses, and they allegedly singled out Cosette for not being as “cool” as them.

Understandably, this made Cosette very upset. When the Massachusetts State Police heard about Cosette, two troopers visited the class to teach her classmates that girls can be whatever they want.

The troopers said her classmates were very receptive.

Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida also heard about Cosette, and their K9 division made a very special video for her.
