SANTA BARBARA, CA — Recently obtained reports from the 2003 child molestation investigation of Michael Jackson reveal some very disturbing things about the late singer, according to Radar Online citing court documents.

Authorities raided Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in November 2003, and the search turned up collections of photos and videos of nude boys as well as gory images of animal sacrifice.

An investigator on the case told Radar Online, “The documents exposed Jackson as a manipulative, drug-and-sex-crazed predator who used blood, gore, sexually explicit images of animal sacrifice and perverse adult sex acts to bend children to his will.”

The source also said, “He also had disgusting and downright shocking images of child torture, adult and child nudity, female bondage and sadomasochism.”

Jackson was later booked into the Santa Barbra County Jail and charged with child molestation, extortion, child abduction, false imprisonment and giving a minor an intoxicating agent. He was acquitted of those charges in 2005.

Update (June 21, 3:40 p.m.): A representative from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement to Vanity Fair regarding the documents published by Radar Online:

Some of the documents appear to be copies of reports that were authored by Sheriff’s Office personnel as well as evidentiary photographs taken by Sheriff’s Office personnel interspersed with content that appears to be obtained off the Internet or through unknown sources. The Sheriff’s Office did not release any of the documents and/or photographs to the media. The Sheriff’s Office released all of its reports and the photographs as part of the required discovery process to the prosecution and the defense.
