Rain, sleet, snow and even some thunder will be possible today. Precipitation will be scattered, but with temperatures through the mid-morning staying around freezing, we will see and have seen some slick spots develop. No accumulation is expected, but it will feel more like February with 30 mph wind gusts and wind chills in the 20s and 30s through the afternoon.
Freeze warnings will be re-issued for Saturday and Sunday mornings with lows in the 20s. Our average last freeze is April 16, so this isn’t entirely unusual. Saturday will be the colder of the two days this weekend. Clouds will increase on Sunday and give way to showers and thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon and evening, which will continue into Monday. There will be spots that could see around 1″ of precipitation by Monday night.
Some sunshine will return by the middle of next week!
