Police searching for suspects after northwest side robbery

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 22, 2015)– Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a burglary last week on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

On September 15, police say two men robbed the Advance America on 5621 North Georgetown Road around 1 p.m.

One suspect was described as wearing a wig with long braids and beads, sunglasses, a brown hooded sweatshirt, orange safety vest, gloves and dark shoes.

The other suspect was described as a wig, a gray Colts hat, sunglasses, brown sweatshirt, orange safety vest, gloves, blue pants, dark shoes and a red over-the-shoulder bag. This suspect was also armed with a black handgun, police say.

The suspects told the victim to taken them to the safe and give them the money from inside of it, along with the money in the register. The victim was told to lay on the floor in the back room until the suspects left.
