INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Silver Alert has been canceled for a toddler who was reported missing in Indianapolis Tuesday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police said Kristian Juarez has been returned and is safe at home.

Indiana State Police issued a Silver Alert for the 19-month-old Tuesday morning, saying he’d been missing since Sunday. In the alert, they said he may have been with his grandmother, 48-year-old Tishawn Blackwell.

Police said Blackwell was supposed to return with Kristian Sunday but didn’t come home and had turned off her cell phone.

“Detectives wish to extend their thanks to the community and Indianapolis media partners for their assistance in this case,” IMPD said in an email.
