INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 2, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police were investigating Wednesday morning after shots were fired on the east side.
The shots were reported around 10:30 in the 700 block of Carlyle Place. That’s in the area of 10th Street and North Emerson Avenue.
Indianapolis Metropolitan police stressed the investigation was in its early stages. While officers were in the proximity of the gunshots, IMPD said it didn’t appear the officers were shot at.
Officers were looking for persons of interest in connection with the incident.
