Police investigate armed robbery at Greenwood tobacco store

GREENWOOD, Ind. (Jan. 13, 2016) – Police in Greenwood are looking for a man who robbed a tobacco store last month.

According to the Greenwood Police Department, the man walked into Discount Tobacco, 713 Fry Rd., around 6 p.m. on Dec. 29, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who’s believed to be in his mid-20s. The man kept the lower part of his face covered.

The clerk handed the suspect money, which he then put in a plastic grocery bag before leaving the store.
