INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 27, 2015)–Arson investigators are trying to figure out who set fire to a playground on the city’s southeast side.

Fire crews were called to the 1700 block of Sloan Avenue around 7 p.m. Friday.  The flames caused significant damage to the structure on the grounds of the Lighthouse Charter School.

Investigators say surveillance video shows four juveniles on the playground setting paper on fire.

The flames spread to the rubber mulch and engulfed the entire playground.

Police have identified a 12-year-old involved in setting the fire.  They are still working to identify three others.
