Police in Carmel release name of person killed in crash

CARMEL, Ind. (March 18, 2016) – Carmel police have released the name of a person killed in a crash Thursday night.

The crash happened around 10:35 p.m. near 96th Street and Westfield Boulevard. Officers determined a black 2014 Toyota Scion was traveling southbound Westfield Blvd when the driver failed to negotiate the roundabout at 96th Street. The vehicle collided with the concrete barrier in the middle of the roundabout.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Lambert Doll, of Carmel. He died from injuries sustained in the crash a short time later at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
