Police cancel silver alert for missing woman after she is found dead

Update: Ola Pike was found dead at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday. The silver alert has been cancelled.

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (February 28, 2016) – Indiana State Police have declared a regional silver alert for a missing 88-year-old woman.

Ola E. Pike was last seen in Selvin, Indiana, which is about 40 miles northeast of Evansville.

Pike is a white female, five feet and three inches tall, and she weighs 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey tee shirt, a grey zip-up jacket, and turquoise slacks.

Pike was last seen on Saturday, February 27, and she is believed to be traveling on foot. Police say she may be in danger and in need of medical attention.
