The crash happened on March 26 while Tanya Turman, 41, was walking to the bus stop at Bolton and Staughton Drive on the northeast side. Turman is hearing impaired and has limited vision. Her family told CBS4 she likely won’t survive.

Newly released surveillance video shows a red SUV hitting Turman and then continuing on its way. The vehicle appears to be a 1992-1999 Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Suburban, possibly with gray trim on its lower half. The SUV would have minor to moderate damage on the front end, police said. Turman was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Police need help locating the SUV and driver. Anyone with information should call the IMPD Crash Investigations Section at (317) 327-6549 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 262-TIPS (8477).
