MARION, Ind. — Officials confirm a plane has crashed at the Marion Municipal Airport.

Police say there are no fatalities in this crash.

According to airport manager Andy Darlington, none of the four people on board the plane required an ambulance.

Darlington says the accident happened Sunday around 5:15 p.m. The plane was based in Marion and the belief is they were attempting to land.

This is the second plane crash to occur in Indiana today. A man had to be medically airlifted to a hospital after crashing a plane in Anderson.

The investigation into this accident is ongoing, and this story will be updated as more information comes out.
