(May 5, 2015) – A pizza delivery driver was stabbed in the back and carjacked. But that didn’t stop him from delivering his pizza.
According to WLKY, Josh Lewis, 19, works for Spinellis Downtown in Louisville. He was coincidentally making a delivery to Norton Hospital around 2:30 p.m. Monday when someone stabbed him in the back and stole his car. The suspect didn’t take the pizzas from him though.
“Believe it or not, he got his pizzas delivered and collapsed in the ER,” Willow Rouben, regional manager for Spinelli’s Pizzeria, told WLKY.
Rouben said Lewis is in stable condition after undergoing surgery to treat a collapsed lung.
Lewis is originally from Detroit, but is a student at Boyce College, the undergraduate school at Southern Seminary.
Friends are now raising money through GoFundMe to help with his medical expenses.
