Pike Township schools Indianapolis: remote learning

UPDATE: MSD of Pike Township announced students will have remote learning until Wednesday, January 12. According to the district, bus driver illnesses are behind the move. There is a chance students will return to the classroom on Thursday.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Metropolitan School District of Pike Township announced Tuesday that it will continue with remote learning for the rest of this week.

The school district cited “additional and prolonged illnesses and required isolations” as the reason and said its plan is to return to in-person classes on January 10.

The NJELC will remain open and operate on its normal schedule. We wish all staff and students impacted by illness a speedy recovery and look forward to a safe return to school on Monday.
