INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An 18-year-old man died in a stabbing on the south side of Indianapolis.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Nathan Cain Henry.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the Buckridge at Southport Apartments near Madison Avenue and East Southport Road just after 2 a.m. on a report of a possible person stabbed.

But police didn’t find Henry at the scene—two men had taken him to Community South Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The men who took Henry to the hospital were in police custody. Additionally, police said they had an additional person of interest in custody.

IMPD called this an isolated incident and said officers had accounted for everyone involved.
