INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 10, 2015)– A person died after a shooting on the city’s near west side.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3000 block of West 10th Street around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
In an alley to the north, IMPD officers located a man inside of a truck with at least one gunshot wound. EMS crews arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
On Thursday, police identified the victim as James Young, 23, of Indianapolis.
