MUNCIE, Ind. (May 26, 2015)– A Yorktown mother faces several charges after allegedly driving her car while intoxicated and naked.

Someone called 911 and told dispatchers that after she criticized Daisha Sue Clark, 24, about leaving her child outside in a car, the mother ran outside naked and took off in the vehicle, according to the Muncie Star Press.

A police officer saw Clark strike a parked Jeep while driving in reverse at the intersection of 16th Street and Port Avenue. When the officer asked Clark where her child was, she claimed she didn’t know.

Clark’s mother was contacted soon after by a woman who said she took the child out of the vehicle due to Clark’s condition.

Clark’s blood-alcohol content registered at 0.15 percent. She faces preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated, neglect of a dependent and driving while suspended.

The Star Press reports that Clark also faces two unrelated theft charges.
