INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – With the Donald Trump vice presidential sweepstakes in full swing, Indiana finds itself in the national spotlight.

Gov. Mike Pence met with Trump Wednesday morning. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee arrived at the governor’s residence around 9:15 a.m. The governor reportedly met with Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr.

Trump left the governor’s residence around 10:30 a.m. He and Pence waved to reporters, but they did not make a statement.

For the last few weeks, Pence’s name has been floated as a possible running mate for Trump. One report suggested a “95 percent probability” that Pence would emerge as Trump’s vice presidential pick.

Pence introduced Trump to a crowd in Westfield Tuesday night.

“We’re ready to put a fighter, a builder, and a patriot in the Oval Office of the United States of America,” Pence told the crowd. “We are ready for Donald Trump to be our next president.”

However, Trump seems to be weighing all of his options in what’s being dubbed as the “veepstakes.”

Both Newt Gingrich and Alabama Senator Jefferson Sessions, who are both considered contenders for the position, also traveled to Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Gingrich arrived at the Conrad in downtown Indianapolis around 11:45 a.m.

Additionally, Sen. Sessions is currently en route to Indianapolis for a meeting with Trump at the Conrad.

A Trump adviser told CNN this is essentially a last chance for these guys to each make their pitch. “That’s exactly what these guys are doing right now – is saying ‘here’s why I’m better than X.'”

Trump’s decision is expected by Friday, the deadline for Pence to withdraw his name from the gubernatorial race. If chosen as Trump’s running mate, he can’t run for reelection.
