McCordsville police asking public to help identify suspects in armed robbery of Village Pantry

MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. – The McCordsville Police Department is asking the public to help them identify two suspects who robbed a Village Pantry at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

Police say the suspects entered the store in the 5900 block of West Broadway around 3:23 a.m.

Upon entry, one subject reportedly pointed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from the store’s employee. The subject took the money and an unknown amount of Black & Mild cigars and Newport cigarettes, then fled westbound on foot.

Police say one suspect is a black male, around 5’8”, with a skinny build. He was wearing all dark clothing, sunglasses, a blue and orange baseball cap and a black bandana over his face.

The second suspect is described as a black male, around 5’6” to 5’8”, with a skinny build. He was wearing a brown long sleeve shirt and dark clothing. He also used a black mask to cover his face.
