INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 10, 2015) — A Minnesota man visits his brother and sister-in-law here in Indianapolis braved the sub-zero temperatures to make a special surprise for them in their front yard.

Creator Dan Benson may not be a Colts fan, but his family is and they say the whole neighborhood has been enjoying the ice sculpture he created.

He spent a few hours out in the cold creating the Colts inspired ice sculpture, in their yard.

“In Minnesota every year we have quite a bit of snow and cold and somehow we have to waste our time or have fun with our time,” Benson said. “So every year I’ve been going out in the front yard and making ice sculptures and letting the neighborhood see them.”

Dan says a lot of people have been driving by and even getting out of their cars to check it out for them.

They’ve seen several pictures posted on Facebook and twitter of the sculpture.
