INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –Metro Police are looking  the gunman who shot another man on the city’s east side Saturday afternoon.

Police say the shooting happened around 2:20 p.m  at the Charleston East Apartments in the 6900 block of East 10th Street.  That scene is near East 10th Street and North Shadeland Avenue.

51-year-old  Bryan Martin shot in the chest and was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition.

The gunman, described only as a 23-year-old male, fled the scene.

IMPD Aggravated Assault detectives spoke with several witnesses and continue to investigate.
