FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. (April 8, 2016) – Police arrested a man they say shot and killed another man in rural Franklin County on April 2.
Police say Thomas Logan, 60, and David Manz, 55, shot each other during an argument they had at Logan’s house on St. Peter’s Road in Brookville, Indiana around 8 p.m.
Police say Manz died at the scene and Logan was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment of his injuries.
After a week long investigation, a warrant was issued for Logan.
Logan was taken into custody Friday following his release from Methodist Hospital. He was taken to the Franklin County Jail, where he was charged with murder, aggravated battery, involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.
Logan will be held without bond, pending his initial hearing.
