INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Detectives believe a man in Fountain Square shot his wife before fatally shooting himself, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police say emergency dispatchers received a call around 8:15 p.m. Saturday from the 1900 block of Orange Street, where a woman said she’d been shot.
Officers arrived to find a 60-year-old man and 63-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to the hospital.
The woman is expected to survive, however, the man has died from his injuries, according to IMPD.
