INDIANAPOLIS — A new chimpanzee named Mara has joined the Indianapolis Zoo, according to a Facebook post from the zoo.
Mara was a lone chimpanzee in a zoo at Puerto Rico when the Indianapolis Zoo was asked to provide a home for her.
She has immediately gotten comfortable with the new surroundings, and will soon be around a community of chimpanzees.
