Local students join protest against climate change

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Hoosier students joined the worldwide movement Friday to skip school to take action against climate change.

Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swedish student and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, started the worldwide movement.

The students were calling for increased renewable energy initiatives and reduced carbon emissions.
