INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Officer Jeffrey Gray of Lawrence police spent Thursday morning donating scarves to kids at local bus stops.

Lawrence Police received a private donation of about 1,300 scarves and has been distributing them. Gray is bilingual, which helps him connect with the Hispanic community.

The department will continue to accept and distribute donations of warm clothing.
