JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a person that stole a $350 piece of equipment from a home Sunday.

Deputies believe a man in a pickup truck stole a white rototiller from the home in the 1900 block of County Road 725 West around 1 p.m.

The victim says the rototiller is a Stihl MM55 Yard Boss, purchased from Dunn Hardware in Trafalgar.

The man and his pickup truck were captured on a surveillance camera on the victim’s property.

The suspect’s truck is believed to be a blue and grey Chevrolet extended cab, made in the late 90’s. The driver is described as a thin to medium build man of unknown age. He was wearing a ball cap at the time of the robbery.

The victim says the only possible suspect they can think of is a former neighbor. They say they have had problems with him in the past and he is no longer allowed on the property.
