INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 4, 2015)  – Contractors for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) plan various traffic restrictions this weekend and next week on the south side at the I-65 and 465 interchange for pavement and guard rail repairs as well as installation of noise wall panels.

The eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound I-65 is scheduled to close  this Friday night at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday. At the same time, motorists should expect various single-lane restrictions on both I-465 and I-65 near the interchange.

The eastbound I-465 to southbound ramp will close Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. for concrete pavement repairs which are expected to last through the weekend and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7.

During the ramp closures, traffic will be directed to continue northbound on I-65 to the Keystone Avenue (Exit 107) to which they will be able to then return southbound on I-65.

Next week, single-lane restrictions are scheduled each night on both directions of I-65 between Southport Road and I-465 starting at 9 p.m. and ending before 6 a.m.
