SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (June 24, 2015) – Two Shelbyville residents were arrested on child molestation charges Wednesday.

Chelsea E. Wainscott, 23, and Logan Lockridge, 26, are accused of molesting a three-year-old boy between April 1 and May 4, 2015.

The child told a family member that Wainscott, who is a relative of the victim, and Lockridge touched him inappropriately.

Lockridge took a polygraph test, and he failed the question about touching the juvenile inappropriately.

Lockridge admitted that both he and Wainscott touched the juvenile. He said he inappropriately touched the boy on two separate occasions. He said there may have been a third occasion, but he could not remember the details.

Both Wainscott and Lockridge are being held in the Shelby County Jail on charges of Child Molest and Neglect of a Dependent.
