Update: The second teen murder suspect was arrested in Grant County on Wednesday afternoon.

MUNCIE, Ind. (April 13, 2016) – Muncie police arrested one teenager wanted in connection with the city’s first murder of 2016.

Mason Lee O’Neal, 17,  turned himself into police at 2:30 a.m., and he was arrested and booked into the Delaware County Jail. He is being held on a preliminary murder charge. During a press conference on Tuesday, Muncie Police Chief Steve Stuart says he plans to charge O’Neal as an adult.

Police are still searching for Marcus Earl Wilson II, 17, in connection with the murder. Wilson is described as 5’10”, 165 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He has arm tattoos and pierced ears. Both teens are former Muncie Central High School students.

Chief Stuart says they believe both O’Neal and Wilson fatally shot Rafael Rodriguez, 24, on Sunday.

Police previously arrested Logan May, 21, on charges of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in death. Cody Buck, 20, was arrested Monday on charges of murder and robbery.
